The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has established a landing page on CDC.gov with the latest information from CDC and the overarching medical community on COVID-19. The page is currently promoting information on how it spreads, symptoms, prevention and treatment, stigma and COVID-19, what to do if you are sick, and frequently asked questions. The page is located at https://www.coronavirus.gov.

INFORMATION SPECIFIC TO THE 182ND AIRLIFT WING

• Effective immediately, the 182d Airlift Wing DEERS/RAPIDS facility has discontinued virtual updates for retirees and dependents.
ID cards and DEERS record updates will be in-person, by appointment only. In order to accommodate social distancing requirements, walk-ins are not being accepted at this time.

182 AW DEERS/RAPIDS facility schedule:
Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri:
  Unit Members Only
Thurs: CACs for other Branches, all Retirees and Dependent USID cards
Regular Scheduled Drills: Unit Members and Dependents Only

• The Base Gym will be re-opening on Feb. 1 with the following guidelines:

  • Members are only allowed to utilize the Base Gym while a Gym Attendant is on duty.
    • Weekdays: 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Weekends: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Please utilize the guidelines attached and always practice proper hygiene while in the Base Gym and wipe down each piece of equipment after use.
  • 182 AW Members are the only occupants allowed to utilize the Base Gym.
  • Each member is required to sign-in with the Attendant upon arrival to the Base Gym.
  • Each member is required to wear a face mask when NOT exercising – please see attachment. [1 Feb 21]
  • The Base Gym is now open to 182nd Airlift Wing dependents from 4:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. [24 Mar 21]

     

• The Base Education & Training Office is facilitating five testing seats available per session on the follows days and times: 
Tuesdays at 1300; Thursdays at 0900 & 1300; Saturday drills @ 1300; Sunday drills at 0900 and 1300. CDC testing will take precedence over PME testing. Testers will be required to wear masks during the testing session and are still required to have the pretesting paperwork, which can be emailed to the FDO. Email the FDO to sign members up for a test date, or call/text 309-224-0826 if you have any questions or concerns. [6 Jul 20]
