Mentoring
I encourage you to pause for a moment during April RSD and take time to start dialog with other Airmen. Be deliberate and see who’s in need of a mentor. Coach them and lead them to our 182nd Airlift Wing SharePoint mentoring page. Please keep in mind, HRA will conduct a mentoring briefing in your work area upon request.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access (DEIA) Core Competency Courses
There are no DEIA courses scheduled this month for the base populous; however, HRA has arranged classes for specific squadron this month. Note: Upon request HRA can come over to your squadron to facilitate DEIA courses.
Joint Diversity Executive Council Sub-Committee (JDEC)
The JDEC consist of 15 members from the 182nd Airlift Wing—a representation of the entire base populous—and aims to spearhead initiatives to improve human relations and bring togetherness regarding DEIA. Please see the HRA/JDEC section of the Share Point to learn more. If you have any innovative ideas please don’t hesitate to contact your HRA or a JDEC member.
