264th Combat Communications Squadron emblem

BLAZON On a disc chequy Gules and Sable, a hurt notched at chief, base, dexter and sinister, charged with an atomic symbol Argent, surmounted by two lightning bolts saltirewise Or throughout; all within a narrow border Yellow. Attached above the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “ACCURATE RAPIDE TUTE” in Yellow letters. Attached below the disc, a Blue scroll edged with a narrow Yellow border and inscribed “264TH COMBAT COMM SQUADRON” in Yellow letters. SIGNIFICANCE Ultramarine blue and Air Force yellow are the Air Force colors. Blue alludes to the sky, the primary theater of Air Force operations. Yellow refers to the sun and the excellence required of Air Force personnel. Scarlet and black are the Squadron’s colors; together in the checked pattern they reflect adaptability. The checkered bands are symbolic of the USAF Aerospace Communications Complex and emit outward from the center alluding to the unit’s responsibility in combat operations. The lightning bolts embody the speed with which communications travels and the atomic symbol represents new technologies. The Squadron will continue to be on the cutting edge of communications as described in the Latin motto, “ACCURATE RAPIDE TUTE,” which translates to “ACCURATELY SPEEDILY SAFELY.” COLORS Ultramarine Blue Air Force Yellow White Scarlet Black
