PEORIA, Ill. -- Happy New Year!
It’s National Mentoring Month:
This month, we focus on how we can all work together to increase the number of mentors to make sure young people in our communities have dependable people to look up to and follow in their footsteps. Moreover, how us as Airmen can coach other Airmen and provide guidance to help maximize each other’s potential.
I challenge you all to start dialog with other Airmen this drill, see who’s in need of a mentor and lead them to our 182nd Airlift Wing SharePoint mentoring page.
Last month, Airman and Family Readiness Center manager Ms. Kim Crouch and HRA Senior Master Sgt. Burton held a “Lunch and Learn” 10 Steps to a Federal Resume, Interview Skills and Goal Value Mapping course that had great success. If you missed the course, get with either points of contact and schedule a course for your unit.
The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Accessibility (DEIA) Human Resource Advisor course this month is full. Please register for February 2022 classes via ARCNET or by coordinating with the Wing HRA.
More information regarding courses can be found on the 182d HRA page found in the virtual newsletter or Wing SharePoint.
