"24 hours for the fallen"

U.S. Air Force Capt. Dan Curtin, right, embraces former Tech. Sgt. Jeb Corley after the Tactical Air Control Party Association 24 Hour Run Challenge at the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria, Ill., March 29, 2013. Both men were deployed to Afghanistan 10 years earlier with fellow Peoria TACP Staff Sgt. Jacob Frazier when he was killed in action. His and Sgt. Corley’s convoy was ambushed on March 29, 2003, while in route to provide backup to Capt. Curtin’s team during a multi-day firefight with Taliban insurgents near Kandahar. A decade later, sixty-two supporters ran 161.75 miles around the installation over the course of 24 hours in memory of Sgt. Frazier and raised over $8,200 in support of the TACP community and their families. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Lealan Buehrer//Released)
