William Robertson, the chief of staff for the Illinois Air National Guard, place the rank of brigadier general on his uniform during the his change of command and promotion ceremony in Peoria, Ill., Nov. 4, 2017. Robertson commanded the 182nd Airlift Wing for 13 years before his promotion to brigadier general and the role of chief of staff of the Illinois Air National Guard.
